OPI Never a Dulles Moment

The wonderful thing about buying an apartment and going through renovations, is that there really is never a dull moment. All the decisions, frustrations, joy and pleasure. Even watching your bank account drain away.

So when I saw this OPI, I just laughed to myself and went ahead and put it on.

Wrong but still Right

I've still yet to perfect picking up images from plates. For some reason, some days it's a complete miss; I won't get full lines or I'll get wonky ones. Like this set I did last weekend.

Looks like I definitely need more practice still.

Items used:
Base Polish: OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls,
Stamping Plate: Bundle Monster BM-604
Stamping Polish: Moyou London Electric Teal

Sometimes, the wrong actually looks kinda right.

Simple Stamps are the Best

I'm going back to something simple.
Well, kind of needed to because of the lack of time and energy, but the silly previous nail art was driving me up the wall whenever I started at it.

So here's a much better edition of simple nails.
Yeah, even if I managed to smudge the stamping in my haste...

Mud Bath and not a Gradient

Just when you thought you got sponging gradients down pat, you screw up and it looks terrible.
Apparently, I don't think I can do tri-colour sponging..

Can you even tell from the pictures that those nails were sponged?
They just look like my Picture Polish Bardot went into a mud bath with its counterpart Merge...

Pathetic.

Picture Polish Wanderlust

The unfortunate thing with buying a house and the accompanying renovations is that all these has completely wiped out my bank account. I'm literally broke and in debt (*deep breath* it's just a housing loan, nothing drama!).

Which means I'm land-locked and the only wanderlust I can indulge in for the next couple of years is probably this Picture Polish...

At least it's a gorgeous shimmery pink...

Picture Polish Chillax

All right. My renovation process has finally started. Slow start but still a start. The past couple of weeks I've taken some time out to go choose the materials for the new house. Seriously never knew I could be so stumped and dazzled by tiles! I was at that tile store from 11 am to 3 pm and all I decided on was my floor tiles!

And there's so many other things to consider! Bathroom fixtures, kitchen fixtures... Gosh I wonder how my mom did this single-handedly previously!
I'm already having trouble with juggling taking off from work and the renovations! Each side seems to pile up everything I attend to the other side! Gosh!

Well, anyway, the point of all that was to let you guys know I might not have the time (or energy! It is seriously tiring!) for nails or nail art in the next couple of months. I already haven't been able to update my other travel blog for weeks!

I'm going to still do my best to keep posting. Well, in a way, nails are probably the only thing that going to help keep me sane during this chaos! Just that, it'll either be simple swatches or irregular posts. Just FYI.

Neon teal that is perfect for summer toes,
and the name is a handy reminder for me to take it slow with the decisions around the renovations!
