Bliz Gradient

Ok, I was too lazy and decided on a quickie. It's just a quick dry-brushed on gradient (over the earlier Revlon Graceful) with a very aptly named Revlon polish called Blizzard Berry.
It looks better IRL than in the photos though.

Revlon Couple that I'm Not Breaking Up With

Ok, I admit. I was at fault. I was heartless. I thought about giving you up before really working it out. But I am remorseful now. I know how well you fit me now. I'm not breaking up with you anymore. Don't worry. You're going back into The Stash right this minute.

Instead, maybe its this bottle of HK Girl that I need to break up with now...

Geometry Love

I've got to say, this is one set of nail stamping that I am SO COMPLETELY IN LOVE WITH. (ahem, excuse the shouting).
It caught a lot of attention from other people around me too and colleagues were astounded to know that this one was easy-peasy to do,
"Yeah, it looks complicated and like it would take a lot of time. But this one is really easy! It's only stamping!"
*cue incredulous looks from colleagues*

Items used:
Base polish: OPI I Cannoli Wear OPI
Layered polish: Moyou London in Bahamas Punch, Cheeky Cactus and Electric Teal
Stamping polish: Konad Black
Stamping Plate: Uber Chic plate 2-01

Girly Bits Cu Blue

Here's yet another one that's been dug out from the depths of a long forgotten box:

Girly Bits Cu Blue,
3 coats + HK Girl TC.
Royal blue jelly with copper bits in them.
Because it was jelly, it was a little of a hassle to get the coat even. The third was definitely required.

Chanel Vertigo

Yep, another Chanel. Fortunately (or unfortunately), these are Chanels that I had actually forgotten all about. I've only discovered them recently now that I'm going around doing a bit of packing in my free time. In fact, there's been a couple of polishes that I don't even remember purchasing at all!
Chanel Vertigo is one of those that I'm clueless about. No recollection at all as to when I got this.
Heh. I don't even understand why since the bottle shade isn't exactly something that impressed me. But oh well, here it is on my recently trimmed nails:

Chanel Vertigo,
2 coats + HK Girl TC.
Browned-grey with a tinge of red shimmer that's really barely there at all.

Chanel Gold Fingers

I know I've warned you guys about me occasionally being absent from the blog earlier. However, I've got to say this; this no-post deal for the past 2 weeks was completely unplanned and in no way due to the renovations.
I just fell terribly, terribly ill.
One of the worst bouts of flu that ever struck me. Never had one that flattened me so bad for 3 weeks! Yup, you saw that right! 3 weeks! In the first week, I was just shivering and shaking and too weak to even get out of bed.
Needless to say, my nails were the last thing on my mind. By the time I got around to week 2, I only had the energy to remove the really badly chipped polish. So it was just bare, badly maintained nails for the past weeks. Yeah. A sign of how bad it got. Horrid nails for WEEKS!
I still have a little cough going on, but at least it no longer feels like I need a respirator just to breathe. And so, I finally got around to a little nail maintenance. Which means blogging is back on the cards! Hopefully, no more unscheduled absence!
Here's the pictures of the last swatch that I did just before I got hit by that flu.

Chanel Gold Fingers,
2 coats + HK Girl TC.
I remember being pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this.
