Glossyblossom Deep Blue Sea

I don't always give enough exposure to Asian brands in The Stash. I'm mindful of that. Hopefully, that'll change a little this year. Maybe I should just make it a point to feature at least one each month...

Chanel Graphite

Sometimes, there's a polish that surprises you when you least expect it too. And you wonder why you never got around to it. But when you do, you know you're not letting it go. And so, this goes back into The Stash and away from The Purge.

Stamping's getting Fun Now!

Now that I have the UberChic clear stamper, I'm beginning to enjoy stamping more and more. It's gotten to a point where I'm actually considering buying more stamping plates and polishes, even though there's so many in The Stash that I haven't gotten around to yet!
At this moment, I'm still on single image stamping. But I'm getting more confident and I think I might want to try multiple images soon!

Items used:
Base: Color Club Angel Kiss,
Stamping polish: Moyou London Ladygold Pink (how is that gold and pink?!),
Stamping Plate: Moyou London Suki Collection 04
Maybe I'll also have to work on colour choice...

Randomness that I Fell in Love With

Sometimes, you'll do something so random without expecting it to last, but then you'll fall in love with it.
Something simple, and yet so pretty.
Something that makes you happy and think of the oceans and beach vacations when you look at it.
Something you regret removing because the next manicure is hideous...

Items used:
Maybelline Bolt of Blue from earlier,
stamped with Moyou London stamping polish in Midnight Madness (love the blue!)
and Uber Chic stamping plate Far East 02.

March's Lies (Part 2)

All right. There's no way I can deceive myself anymore. Even earlier hopes that the package will come in April has fallen through. My March's lies are over. I broke the 1 haul per month rule.
BUT. Rules are made to be broken after all! Heh.

From Harlow & Co., more Picture Polishes for me!

And random stickers and body tats (that I'm planning to use for nail art) from a $2 shop I found at Liang Court!

Maybelline Bolt of Blue

I've recently found a couple of boxes of old polishes. Stashes of mine that I had completely forgotten about until a(nother) bout of cleaning up. Yeah. Major cleaning up.
The beauty of this all? It kind of feels like you had a nice nail polish haul. One that was paid for a long long time ago. Pretty awesome feeling. Plus it helps a lot with the low-buy.
*Damn that poor impulse control*
Here's one from that forgotten stash:

Maybelline Bolt of Blue,
2 coats + HK Girl TC.
Not just forgotten kind of old, but a really old polish in itself!
I don't see Maybellines like this anymore!

St Patrick's 2017

Well, I actually wanted to put this up yesterday (when it's actually St Patrick's Day, Sg time) but I was too damn tired to edit the pictures and sound merry writing a post. Guess that's what happens when you're down the week teaching a class of pretty darn sharp thinkers. (Oh! It was a great class! Not complaining there!)
So anyway, I had you had a great St Patrick's Day! Or weekend!

Items used:
Green nails - Essie Pretty Edgy,
Gold nails - OPI Love. Angel. Music. Baby + China Glaze Cleopatra,
White base - OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls,
Straight lines using vinyls from Vibrant Vinyls,
Clover leaves - vinyls from Whats Up Nails.

March's Lies

I have to admit, my will power is weak. I've tried. Oh! I swear I've tried. But all the nail polishes out there! Those darn blogger swatches that look like the nail fairies had a field day with them!
I've caved. I said "Only ONE haul per month!"
But I lied.
And this month, I've made THREE separate orders.
So far, only one of those orders have arrived. I'm sharing it here first, in an attempt to lie to myself (if the others come later) that the rest will be April's...
From Live. Love. Polish.:
Anna Sui polishes (from left to right) in I603, I902 and I701.
Picture Polish (you can match) in Orchid, Bardot, Merge, Salt Water, Winter, Holo-sphere and Story.

Australis Paint Trackie Dacks

I was digging through a "lost" box of polishes that was recently found again. And I came across this polish that I remembered hauling back from my work trip to Melbourne. And all of a sudden, I have this urge to go back again to Australia (this time for a proper holiday).
Unfortunately, I'm going to be land-locked for a while. All my money's going to go into renovating my new house. Well, I do have an upcoming trip but that one was planned a seriously long time ago. Like way before I even decided to get the apartment. So, it's going to be just nail polish memories for now...

Australis Paint in Trackie Dacks,
2 coats + HK Girl TC.
Gotta say though, this one had the worst brush ever! Even a damaged OPI brush would have worked better!

In the Mood for Spring!

Yes! I'm finally in the mood for spring! If you've read my earlier posts, you'll have known that the past couple of weeks have been quite trying for my brother, family and me.
Actually my brother and I are intending to move out to stay on our own. While my own search for an apartment is coming to a close, my brother's wasn't as smooth. Without giving away too many details, my brother (and all of us) felt cheated in the potential purchase of an apartment and yet still had to be potentially held legally accountable. It was the very issue that bothered us for the past couple of weeks. Good news though is that everything has since been resolved!
Additional bonus: Given the scenario, it was resolved with the best outcome (in our favour of course!)
So now that the dark mood has been lifted, so has the dark nails. Heh. Yes, my nails do sometimes reflect my feelings.
Well, bottom-line: I'm definitely now in the mood for spring nails!

Items used:
OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls,
Moyou London stamping polish in Fresh Basil (love this colour!),
Konad stamping plate m79,
and a floral nail charm from Whats Up Nails.
