Arabesque

I recently made a purchase on MoYou London again.
Everytime, I make a huge purchase there,
I end up asking myself why,
since I hardly do any stamping.

Not that I don't want to.
I just don't seem to do as well.

Even my current clear stamper seemed to have given up on me after only one round of using it.
It refused to pick up any images for this one,
and I ended up returning to my Konad stamper.

Pity. I really enjoyed seeing where I could place my stamping.

Items used:
Catrice HoloGREYphic for base,
MoYou London Arabesque plate #06,
and MoYou stamping polish in August Plum.

Random Essence Couple.

How about a 2 for 1 post today?

During the weekend,
I managed to stay awake long enough to edit a couple more pictures,
so here you go!

Essence Stuck on You,
2 coats + Seche Vite TC.

Slate blue-grey with silver micro glitter bits.
Quite a gorgeous dark coloured polish.
In fact, after I had this swatched,
it went straight onto the toes for a proper pedicure!

Essence Chic Reloaded,
2 coats + HK Girl TC.

A multichrome!
How is it that I often neglect all these other wonderful polishes?

Anyway, this one's mainly a purple-teal shift,
but on occasions, there's pink and a wee bit of gold-green in there.
Photos below were taken indoors.

Orly Bling

Orly Bling,
3 coats + Seche Vite TC

I haven't been able to get my hands yet on the sister polish, Mirrorball.
But if this gold is any indication,
I really shouldn't wait too long to get Mirrorball!

Only because I loved how it looked in my apartment lift too.

Unfinished Business

I really tried my best to work off the sick vibes.
Actually hauled my ass off the couch to attempt a nail art.

Unfortunately, I chose to do something that took longer than I had expected.
By the time I was halfway done,
I didn't have the energy left in me to fight the meds.

At least, the final manicure still looked completed to the unknown.
Forever, whenever I looked down,
I knew that there should be some gold,
and less negative space.

Oh well. Another time I guess.

Misa Like It Like That

Sometimes, I forget there are other brands apart from OPI.
And that's not saying it's because I'm a OPI fan.

On the contrary, I'm not particularly loyal to any brands.
Instead, it's always been a question of which colour is nicer, which polish looks better.

However, OPI is still easiest to purchase here in sunny Singapore.
Some of the other brands, a wee bit harder,
and yet other brands, a lot harder to get.

Misa happens to be one of those harder to find brands.
And I tend to forget I have some of these until I clear The Stash,
or one topples from The Closet as in this case.

Like It Like That,
2 coats + Seche Vite TC

Bright, metallic green that's supposed to have a slight blue duochrome.
Unfortunately, sun's so bright,
the green's won much of the battle.

Last 2 pictures taken in the shade.
Like I said, the blue duochrome is considered slight.

The last of the OPI 2016 Soft Shades collection

I did share in an earlier post that these were actually already swatched.
Just that I fell sick.

Oh well. I'm still sick actually.
But I've enough of it and am trying to haul my sick ass up to get some stuff done.
Which includes getting these pictured edited and posted!

This Cost Me a Mint,
2 coats + HK Girl TC.

Loved this pale mint.
I have some plans for it for nail art.

It's in the Cloud,
2 coats + HK Girl TC.

Pastel off-white crème.
This one's already been featured in some nail art.
