Lady Queen Review: Hehe Stamping Plate 045

Apologies for the no post last week.
This time, it's not me who fell sick but my mom.
Coupled with preparations for the coming Lunar New Year,
and planning for a trip,
I barely had any spare time the previous weekend to work on the blog.

Fortunately, mom has since recovered
although we are thinking of sending her for more medical tests.
I always believe its better to find out if there's anything wrong early.
Hopefully, there's nothing major.

Well, back to the nails proper.
Today I have for you another review,
but this time from Lady Queen

The good people at Lady Queen sent me a small package for review,
and included in the pack was my very first hehe plate!

The one I got was hehe plate 045,
a oriental themed plate with calligraphy, a pavilion, etc.
Perfect actually for the upcoming Lunar New Year!

And here's my first attempt with the willow leaves pattern:

Lady Queen has several other interesting items.
I've made a purchase myself recently too for some decals as well.

If you're interested to shop there,
they've also set up a coupon code for my readers.
So, pls enter ARDS15 for a 15% discount before checking out!

Nails Inc Baker Street

I can't believe that this is my first post on Nails Inc.
Not when I had such a pretty polish sitting in The Stash for so so long:

Baker Street,
2 coats + HK Girl TC

Vibrant, bright cobalt blue crème.
A must-have.

Random Pair of China Glaze

I had forgotten these 2 polishes until the recent cleaning of the polish closet:

High Hopes,
from the Spring 2010 Up and Away collection.
(That's 6 years ago!)

2 coats + HK Girl TC.

Deep pinky coral crème.
Just in time for CNY manicures.

China Glaze Rainstorm,
I don't even know how old this one is.

3 coats + HK Girl TC.

Ok, this is one sheer. Like really sheer.
I probably should have done a 4th coat but I was feeling lazy that day.

Otherwise, this one's quite interesting.
Periwinkle blue with pinkish shimmer and deep blue micro glitters.
Maybe I should try a jelly sandwich with this one.
Rainstorm looks like its up for the job.

Lunasol Summer 2015 Limited Edition: EX37 Lime Green

I don't have a lot of Lunasol polishes,
but I do adore the couple that I have.
They've had pretty funky colours and the formula has been great so far.

EX37 Lime Green,
2 coats + HK Girl TC

Mustard-green that reminds me of Shrek.

Perhaps I should pick up more Lunasols should I ever get to Japan again.

Born Pretty Store review: Fun Nails Wraps

In my recent package from Born Pretty Store,
they included 2 sets of nail wraps for review.

Both sets were pretty cute,
and with a great sense of fun.

The first set of  universe / space ships wraps which I trimmed to show off some French tips.
Though I'll probably would have done better if I had chosen another colour for tips.

Even then, it looked pretty cool.
I wore this to watch Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Not exactly Star Wars, but similar and fun.

And here's the second cute giraffe set.
This one was so adorable, I had tons of people squealing over those nails.

So if you want some simple, fun quick-fixes for those nails,
head on to Born Pretty Store and check out those nail wraps.
They have tons from the pretty to whimsical to cool and cute.

OPI Venice: Baroque... But Still Shopping! & Gelato on my Mind

I'm goggling and planning for a possible trip to Kyushu, Japan
while attempting to write this post,
and it's just so distracting.

Apparently multi-tasking on two of my favourite things are next to impossible,
I just don't know which one to focus on.

OPI Baroque... But Still Shopping,
2 coats + Seche Vite TC

The shopping options in Kyushu, especially Fukuoka, looks amazing.

But anyway, this is what happens when you buy a polish without goggling online for swatches.
The polish looked damn promising in the bottle,
but was a miserable fail on the nails.

Better to focus on shopping in Fukuoka.

Gelato on my Mind,
3 coats + Seche Vite TC.

Well, I have the Japanese soft serve on my mind now.
Though this lovely pale robin blue is gorgeous too.
It's my current fave light blue.

Wonder if I'll find a blue soft serve in Japan?
