China Glaze 2009 Kaleidoscope Collection: Visit Me in Prism

I have to choose the rainy season to start cravings for holo manicures...

From China Glaze's epic 2009 Kaleidoscope Collection:
Visit Me in Prism.
2 coats over Nfu-Oh Aqua Base, no TC.

Very light lilac-pink holo that looks almost silver actually.
Not really a big fan of this one.

Colors by Llarowe Tank Tops & Flip Flops

CbL Tank Tops & Flip Flops,
2 coats over Nfu-Oh Aqua Base, no TC.

I think the no TC was a mistake.
The mani ended up being a little flat,
and I was a little disappointed because of that.

My first experience with Colors by Llarowe,
and I purposely chose this one first as I was fascinated by the warm toned dark lavender. Unfortunately, as much as I really like this shade of purple,
I don't think it suits my skintone all that well.

Pity. I would have loved it otherwise.

Cirque Dark Horse Collection: Ophelia

I've had a couple of Cirque polishes for a while, but
this is the first time I'm actually wearing one.
To be honest, there are so many indie brands now floating around,
that I've lost track of what's out there.

Not that I'm especially interested at this point in time too.
It's gotten to a point where there are just too many glitters floating around,
it kind of gets overwhelming and that turns me off a little.

Cirque Ophelia from the Dark Horse Collection.
Periwinkle blue glitter in clear base.
I remember choosing this one over Essie's Stroke of Brillance.

1 coat Ophelia over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls,
topped with HK Girl TC.
It looked fresh and clean over white,
but I very much preferred the look of it over black,
as seen in the next few photos.

1 coat Ophelia over A England Camelot,
topped with HK Girl TC.
Silly me only thought about the possibility of a gradient halfway through this particular manicure.

Glitter Gal Not Another Red 3D/Holo

Glitter Gal Not Another Red 3D/Holo
3 coats over Nfu-Oh Aqua Base, no TC.

Love this strawberry red linear holo.
I did 3 coats here as these pictures were taken on the 3rd day of wearing this polish,
and I needed to refreshen the manicure up for photos.

Having said that,
I sure as hell didn't mind 3 days of awesome holo sauce.
If there was anything that I would have minded,
it would be that this is a pretty tiny bottle.
