Elianto Glittery Nickel

This one was actually a forgotten love.
Put it on a while back and forgot all about it,
until I saw it swatched again by lovely NB'er and fellow blogger Noelie

So I went to get this one back
and fell in love with it all over again.

2 coats + 1 coat Poshe TC

Greyed out glass-flecked purple

I love how seeing polishes swatched on others
would bring back a forgotten loved one for myself.
NB had a themed "Forgotten Love" this week,
and seeing all those posts made me remember some of the polishes that I have put aside.
I believe I'm going to adopt that same theme soon.
Perhaps after the next one I have planned

I've a feeling quite a few Asian polishes are going to appear on my Top 20 this year

Holika Holika #18

All right, there actually is a name to this one.
I wrote it down when I bought it in the shop,
but for the life of me,
I have no idea where I put that piece of paper.
So for now, its just the number till I get back to the shop to check it out.

2 gorgeous coats + 1 coat Poshe TC

Holika Holika is another less known Korean brand.
It just recently reached our Singapore shores.
You can find it at Wisma Atria #B1-64

I took too many pictures.
Defnitely don't own another dupe to this gold-green beauty.
I'll just let the pictures do the work.

Definitely going into my Top 20

So I did more hauling than usual...

and added the following new babies to my stash

OPI I Lily Love You,
TINS #052 Coco's Shopping (this one was a swap remorse),
and TINS #053 Bianca's Drive

the new to Sg Revlon scented polishes:
Mad about Mango,
Sublime Strawberry (lusted this one after seeing swatches on NB),
and Not so Blueberry.

I waiting for 1 last set of haul.
Totally busted my bonus on nail polish hauling this month,
but damn happy about it =P

Essie Lolipop

Essie Lolipop.
And erm... definitely nothing oriental about this one.
Just one that I grabbed to match the killa-red heels I wore for my friend's wedding.

2 coats + 1 coat Poshe TC
I just combined 2 half bottles of Poshe together,
so this would be my to-go TC for a while to come.

I had originally planned nail art,
but didn't have the time to execute it.
In fact, I didn't even have the time to change my pedi!
The whole mani took me 5 minutes and I was outta the door.

So it was just nail art sticker for an accent nail.
Regretted it though after.
Probably cos I was rushing,
I didn't adhere it properly,
so it looked as though the poor sticker was hanging on for dear life

That aside, I loved the mani choice.
I don't generally gravitate towards red polishes,
but when I do, its usually when I wanna feel diva-like.
There's something about awesome killa-red polishes that brings that out in me.

And Essie Lolipop was just one of those.
I saw several ladies who sported red polishes too at the wedding.
But I just felt mine was the prettiest =P

Ottie #17 Glam Viridian

I apologise for the short hiatus.
Have been busy with work as well as getting stuff for my friend's wedding.
In fact, I almost had no time to do my nails for her wedding!

Today I have for you Ottie #17 Glam Viridian.
Ottie is a Korean brand,
one that is probably less well-known as compared to Etude House.
But Ottie has some polishes that are pretty awesome.

2 coats + 1 coat Poshe TC

I first stumbled across this brand in a hole-in-the-wall beauty store.
For readers in Sg,
you can find this brand at Beauty Language (a chain of beauty store)

And from what I can find out from google,
it seems like Ottie belongs to the same company that gives us Missha.

I love how this one sparkles in the sun.
It attracted compliments from some of my colleagues too
and one of them has even staked a claim to borrow it in future to match one of her dresses in the same hue.

I took many pics of this one,
and couldn't decide which ones to delete.
So they're all posted here

Plus although there's pretty mirco glitter in this one,
removal was easily done with the foil method.
I don't know about you guys,
but there are some glitter polishes I find still difficult to remove even with foil.

Love this one.
Thought of purging it initially,
but I guess not afterall.

China Glaze Broken Hearted over Etude House WH020 Extreme Jewel

In hindsight, not the best polish name for a hen party.
But then again,
I was only informed on the morning of the party that there was a White & Pink theme.
And the first thought that crossed my mind:
I've got the white base (ok, technically silver but who's checking),
I'll just slap on the pink crackle!

This is the one my friends all said was OTT

Looked damn hot against my white dress

Definitely one that I would re-create some day.
Just too pretty!

The nail tech that worked on me also complimented on it!
And she was impressed that I knew about the shatters,
and owned the entire OPI range of it.

I'll post about my experience at the nail salon at a later date!

Etude House WH020 Extreme Jewel

I attended a hen party recently,
and part of the deal was a group mani-pedi thing at a nail salon.
Well, so I kinda thought about putting on a glitter polish
and letting the tech do the removal =P

I'll be honest.
As much as I love my glitters,
and with the foil removal method,
I still hate it when I have to remove glitter manis

So since I could sit back and let someone else do the job this round,
I purposely picked this one here,
and laid the coats on!

Etude House WH020 Extreme Jewel.
At least that is the name of the polish from what google informed me
(finds it damn difficult to google for names of Etude House polishes)

4 coats here for complete coverage (and since I don't have to remove) + 1 coat Poshe TC

Love how super blingy this one is.
The pics here were taken when the sun came out after a rainy morning.
It ain't the strongest sunlight,
but man, the mani just sparkled like mad.

My camera hates these bling-like-mad manis.

This polish is a clear base with mostly small silver glitter.
The light purple glitter is probably the one that gives this a lavender/lilac hue,
and there's also some fuschia and teal glitter thrown in to jazz it up.

No issues with the application,
plus it was a smooth finish with the 1 coat of TC.

I layered this one with the pink China Glaze crackle on the day of the party,
and my friends called it OTT (o.O)
Will post pics of that one soon as well.
But I guess muggles just cant take too much sparkle in their lives
