For CT: China Glaze Fight like a Woman Collection - Endurance

I purposely ordered this set for you.
Its from China Glaze and the collection is named "Fight like a Woman".
Its a set of 3 pink polishes.

The first one I have for you is called Endurance.

2 coats + 1 coat Poshe TC

Don't worry. You will NOT get any sympathy from me.
In fact, I will scold you if you don't continue to endure and persist with the treatment.

There's so many of us behind you.
You can and will beat the odds.
Just let us know when you need a morale booster.

This one was taken in the taxi.
I've gone back to shooting pictures while cabbing to and fro to checks and visits.

Damn. I miss you lots babe.
Sending you all the love and stay-strong vibes.

Maybelline Violet Aluminium

I'm exhausted.
So it'll be a quickie post tonight.

Maybelline Violet Aluminium.
I understand this one's a old discontinued Maybelline

2 coats + 1 coat OPI Rapidry TC

No issues with application,
but this one's gonna get goopy over time.
Common thing seen among older polishes,
but easily rescued with thinner.

Remember! Its thinner.
NOT acetone or remover!

Dries to a semi-matte metallic finish.
The silver foil-like glitters don't translate as well onto the nails though
even though it looked pretty packed in the bottle.

Unfortunately, this one's not doing it for me.

I would love to go sailing on the Caribbean one day...

I've kinda accummulated too many nail art stickers,
and am now trying to get through them.

Picked this set of stickers for a nautical theme one that's been in my mind.

Polishes and stuff used for nail art mani are:
1) Orly Bare Rose
2) Ruby Kisses Caribbean
3) White and blue acrylic paint for the thin stripes
4) Gold disco ball glitters

And here's the mani that a colleague said reminded her of Sailor Moon!

hee... I rotated this pic to let you have a better sense of how it looks oriented IRL

I think this one's a win =)

Results of my blogiversary giveaway.

So here's the pic again of the 2 mystery polishes that you were supposed to guess:

Unfortunately no one got it right.
Or to be more accurate, no one got the base polish right.
Everyone got the glitter down pat.

So the 2 mystery polishes are:
1) OPI Last Friday Night

2) Bloom Bonnie
(Pic inspired by Jellynat; I just love her pics)

Right. So there were a total of 12 entries,
but I had to disqualify 2.
1 cos I could not locate her ID among my followers
(and I spent a good half an hour pouring over again and again)
and the 2nd one was disqualified cos the entry came in after my deadline.

So here are the 10 entries.
And since it was only 10,
I asked my father to give it a go at doing the honours.

And the winner is:

Congrats! I'm going to send you an email shortly after I'm done with this post!
Pls reply me within 5 days of the email.
Otherwise I will proceed to draw another winner.

Milani Key Lime Shine

I should be annoncing the winner of the giveaway tomorrow.
So stay tuned for that if you entered =)

In the meantime, I have for you today:
Milani Key Lime Shine.

Including this, I only own 2 bottles of Milani.
I'm not keeping this though,
even though I think it might be good for konading.

2 coats + 1 coat Poshe TC.
Spruced it up with some nail art stickers for accent.

In the bright sunshine, it looks a cross between gold and silver chrome.

In reality, its a lime green chrome.
And as with chromes, brushstrokes were a pain in the ass.

I have no idea why I got this.
I don't dig such colours,
and neither do I like chrome finishes.

Anyway, whatever it is, its going into the purge.
Hopefully, someone would like it more.

Revlon Streetwear Taxi

I'm back from Chiangmai
but need to catch up on stuff
so this will be a quickie post.

Another one that's going into the purge:
Revlon Streetwear Taxi.

3 coats + 1 coat Poshe TC

Cheery bumblebee yellow with some shimmer.
But no good on me skintone.

As with yellows, this one was tougher to apply evenly.
It streaked a little.
3rd coat was needed to even stuff out.

That's it folks.

Bloom Elle over Essie Monkey Business

Scheduled post.

I didn't like the previous Essie mani,
but remembered having no time to do a mani change.

Grabbed the bottle of Bloom Elle that was still on the table,
and layered a coat over Monkey Business.

More bearable then Essie Monkey Business on its own.
But still no likey.
