LA Girl Overdose over Essie Viva La Vespa

Just back from another long day at work,
so just a quick post tonight.

Anyway, I accidentally dinged my lovely Viva La Vespa mani last night
but I didn't want to really change it.
So I grabbed the bottle of LA Girl Overdose (from their wonderful Rock Star Collection) and added a quick layer.

In direct sunlight.

The next 2 are night shots with camera flash.

ok, it was so cold in the office that even my camera had condensation on the lens.
I didn't realise that at first and snapped a shot.
heh... but I'm showing it here cos I thought it looked kinda dreamy...

I count myself very very very fortunate to have made friends with many other fellow polish lovers since I started this little blog.
If not for these wonderful ladies, there are probably tons of polishes that I can drool over
*wipes drool off the keyboard*

I sincerely hope that I haven't forgotten to thank everyone who sent something my way,
but just in case I do, please do know that each nail package is always met with excited squealing or squeaking
*unless I get struck speechless with the goodies*
heh... sometimes, friends and family are even treated to a butt wiggle and/or victory dance.
Well... once even the neighbours...
They are always greatly appreciated. Truly.

The first 2 pictures are taken in the sun.

ok, these aren't the most accurate colors
but I'm still mighty pleased that the purple didn't break the new camera as badly.
At least, there is a tinge of purple =)

and when taken with flash,
the shots are actually more colour accurate that I have ever gotten before.

I can just stare at my nails the entire day.
The purple is mesmerizing.
Its just WoW.

Oh.. and erm, guys I'm going to be hiding my thumb for a while.
It had a terrible break and its all now a lopsided oval
*which I totally hate*

and please excuse the cuticles.
I'm back on the pole which means drying grip powder again.

The Many Faces of Zoya Shivon

Yep, the one that I put up for purge.
Zoya Shivon is actually a really lovely polish.
But perhaps it'll be better off on a tanned Amazon goddess?
On me, it just looks weird.

erm... I took quite a few photos to show you guys the different facets of Shivon.
Just ignore the weird-coloured hands that come along with the nails =P

Lippmann Just Walk Away Renee

I went to watch the muscial Chicago last night with the pole gals
Thoroughly enjoyed myself although we all agreed that the movie was better.
I absolutely loved Renee Zellweger and Catherine Zeta-Jones in the movie!
Chicago's one of my all-time fave shows.

Anyway, I thought it was apt to do a mani with a polish that Ms Zellweger helped to create;

heh... I only had 10 mins to do my mani before I was rushing outta the house.
so still no nail art gals, sorry.
Its been a crazy week.

And since I only had 10 mins,
I only managed 2 coats + Poshe.
Think it would have been better with 3 coats though.

I've only had it on last night, so its been just to the musical, bed and morning,
and already I have a tiny chip on the left thumb (you can just see it in the last picture) and another on my right ring finger.
